Course Description
Upon successful completion of this course, each student will be physically educated. More specifically, each student will understand the benefits from involvement in physical activity, value physical activity and its contributions to a healthy lifestyle and will have learned the skills necessary to perform a variety of physical activities.
In addition, the student will understand key information and concepts related to physical fitness, nutrition, the prevention and control of disease, and the human body systems. Finally, students will take part in an abstinence based unit on sexual health and the reprodcuctive system.

Through individual and cooperation games, students will be introduced to the skills necessary to improve and maintain fitness levels over the course of thier life.
